三大宗派以外の宗派

キリスト教は、西方教会と東方教会に大別されます。

「西方」「東方」という言葉は、元を辿れば西欧中心、東欧中心に広まった
という意味があり、カトリックとプロテスタントは西方教会の中に入ります。

西方及び東方という大別の中で、また更に枝分かれしていきます。

私たちがよく耳にする「英国国教会」は西方教会の中に属し、カトリックや
プロテスタントの教えを引き継ぎながらも独自の発展を遂げ、現在では
「聖公会」という組織が形成され、世界的な発展を遂げました。

日本にも「日本聖公会」があり、アメリカには「米国聖公会」があり、
世界規模の宗派となったのです。

そのほか、私たちが普段耳にしないような宗派がいくつもあり、
そして、宗教は国家単位で統率されることも多いようです。

英国国教会に代表されるように、日本には日本正教会や日本基督教団があり、
アメリカにはアメリカ正教会、ブラジルにはブラジル聖公会があり、
古来から受け継がれているキリストの教えに従いつつ、その国独自の習慣も
宗教内に取り入れていることが大変多いです。

例えば、日本の教会では七五三や成人式を祝うこともあります。

時代背景に基づき、新しいキリスト教宗派も出てくる一方で、
国独自の価値観が反映されたキリスト教も多く存在し、そういう意味では、
根本に同じ教えがあっても、その詳細を見れば、キリスト教徒としてのあり方は、
実に様々だということができるでしょう。

Following the teachings of Christ which have been handed down since ancient times, the country's customs are also often incorporated into the religion.

For example, Japanese churches sometimes celebrate children's growth and the coming-of-age ceremony.

Based on the historical background, while new Christian sects appear, there are many Christian sects that reflect the country's own unique values, and in that sense, even if there are fundamentally the same teachings, looking at the details, it can be said that the ways as Christians are really varied.
