ユダヤ教とキリスト教

私たちは「ユダヤ教とキリスト教」と聞くと、まったくの異宗教のように
感じてしまいますが、実際には根本的には同じ宗教であり、ユダヤ教から
分離独立した新しい宗教がキリスト教だということをご存知でしょうか？

聖書を正典とすることも、ユダヤ教とキリスト教に共通して言えることです。

「ユダヤ」の語源は、ユダ族が生活していた地域の名前だと言われています。

ユダヤ教は、イスラエル人のモーセが神・ヤハウェと契約をしたことが
起源になります（この契約が有名な「モーセの十戒」と呼ばれるものです）。

ユダヤ教には数多くの派閥がありました。
禁欲主義を主体とする派閥、立法主義の派閥などです。

その中で、イエス・キリストも、その中でひとつの派閥を作っていました。
その派閥が独立してキリスト教という新しい宗派になっていったのです。

ですから、ユダヤ教を信仰するユダヤ人がキリスト教創設に携わったという
ことになり、キリストも、その12人の弟子も、全員ユダヤ人であったと
言われています。

今でこそ、キリスト教は世界でもっともその信者人口を抱えるにまで
成長したのですが、根本にはユダヤ教と同じものを抱えており、旧約聖書は
今なおユダヤ教徒にもキリスト教徒にも愛読されているという確たる共通点は、
覚えておいたほうが良いと思います。

It is also common that the bible is regarded as the canon in Judaism and Christianity.

It is said that the etymology of Judea is the name of the area where the Judas lived.

The origin of Judaism is the fact that Moses of Israel has made a contract with God Yahweh (this agreement is called the Ten Commandments of Moses).

There were numerous factions in Judaism, such as factions based on asceticism, factions of legislativeism and so on.

Jesus Christ also made a faction among them.
That faction became independent and led to a new denomination called Christianity.

It suggests that the Jews who believed in Judaism were involved in the foundation of Christianity and it is said that Jesus and all his twelve disciples used to be Jews.

For now, Christianity has became to have the most followers in the world, but it fundermentally has the same thing as Judaism. It is better to remember their common point that the Old Testament has been still read regularly by both Jews and Christians .
