イエス・キリスト

イエス・キリストは、キリスト教を体系化した人物である、という言い方が
もっとも一般的でしょう。

ここでは簡単に、キリストの生涯に纏わることについて、おさらいしたいと
思います。

キリストは、ベツレヘムでこの世に生を受けたとされていますが、
キリストは「神が人間になったお方」であり、神が人間の体に宿って
この世に現れたことを、「受肉」若しくは「藉身」（せきしん）といいます。

また、キリストの誕生を、「降誕」といいます。

「キリスト」とは「油をつけられた人」という意味があり、
「香油を注がれた聖人になられた人」ということから、キリストと呼ばれる
ようになったと言われていて、実際に今でも東方正教会の洗礼儀式では、
特別な香油を新たな信者につけ、聖化する、という習慣があります。

キリストはベツレヘムで生まれたあと、ナザレで人生の多くの時間を過ごす
ことになり、そのことから「キリストはナザレ人」という言い方をする人も
出てきました。

キリストは全人生を宣教のために捧げたと思われがちですが、
実際は３０歳になるまで、父親の大工仕事の手伝いをしていました。

３０歳を過ぎて宣教活動を始め、３４歳で処刑されるまで、ナザレが主な
活動拠点であったようですが、逮捕されたのはエルサレム、処刑されたのは
ゴルゴダの丘だと言われています。

It is most common that Jesus Christ is a person who organized Christianity.
Here I would like to briefly review the life of Christ.

It is said that Christ was born in Bethlehem, but Christ is God who has become a human and it is said "incarnation" that Christ was revealed in a human body in this world.

Also, the birth of Christ is called "Nativity."

The word "Christ" comes from a word meaning "anointed."
It is said that an anointed one to be a saint became to be called Christ. Even now there is actually the ritual act of pouring aromatic oil over new believers' head or body to be sanctified in the rite of baptism of Eastern Orthodox Church.

After Christ was born in Bethlehem, he spent a lot of his time in Nazareth. Therefore, some people have said that Christ is the Nazarene.

It seems that Christ dedicated his whole life for missionary work, but actually he had helped his father's carpentry work until he was 30 years old.

He started missionary works after the age of 30 mainly in Nazareth until the age of 34 when he was crucified. But it is said that he was arrested in Jerusalem and crucified on a hill of Golgotha.
