About the Bible

The Bible is a Christian canon, consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
While the Old Testament has the meaning of old contract, the New Testament has the meaning of new contract.
There is a detailed description about this contract in the Bible and it is written in the Last Supper before Christ was crucified and executed.

The Bible is a Christian canon, but as I mentioned before, Judaism is the basis of Christianity, so it is also read by the Jews.

While the Old Testament has been for Judaism, the Old Testament and the New Testament have been read by Christians.

The New Testament is a canon only for Christianity. Specifically it is written about the life of Jesus and the evangelism of the apostles after Jesus was executed.

Also, the languages of the original texts are different between the Old Testament and the New Testament.
While the Old Testament is written in Hebrew, the New Testament is written in Greek.

Of course, now each of them is translated into each national language to spread so that people around the world can understand it just by listening to it.

While the Old Testament consists of 39 volumes, the New Testament consists of 27 volumes, and they have been further branched into chapters and sections.

You may know that the priest and the pastor often quote the words of the Bible in the church. As the words of the Bible are composed to be branched out and excerpted to make it easy to teach, it seems that the missionary work has passed over a long period.
